Because of the dissapointment of cancelling the Saturday morning Soccer School, we have decided to move to our winter venue earlier than scheduled.
Beginning Saturday 17th October we will be at:
Manchester Leisure, Active Lifestyle Centre, Denmark Road, Manchester, M15 5FG.
The same times are applicable:
- School years 3/4/5/6 to attend 9.30 till 10.30
- School years reception, nursery, year 1, year 2 to attend at 11.00 till 12.00
COVID ruling will still apply on arrival and parents will be required to wear face masks and acknowledge the appropriate social distancing.
Club development scheme is still on track. We have applied for funding to help us upgrade the football pitches on Mersey Bank. Over the next 6years we will have work done to improve the standard of the playing surfaces for our teams. Hopefully we can stage some tournaments during the summer.
Also, it’s worth mentioning that we are still waiting for planning permission on the amendments required for the rebuilding of the changing rooms. This is a £300K project and serious fundraising is needed. We would like to integrate renewable energy sources to the building to reduce the clubs carbon footprint. Support and financial assistance is much needed.
